Surround yourself with Natural Beauty in Luxury Rustic Retreats.

Cozying up in the scenic Smoky Mountains, just outside of Knoxville, the resort houses luxuriously decorated cottages and rustic homes. Each cottage is unique with its one of a kind custom barn doors recreated from antique Haveli doors decorated with high-end country comforts. An elaborately carved swinging daybed invites guests to unwind and curl up with a glass of full bodied, dry red wine. Kick back in the cabana with a fire burning in the old stone fireplace accented with rustic arches and enjoy a dip in the year-round heated saline pool.

A stunning medieval style mediterranean castle door leads to a huge 10,000 square foot Pennsylvania barn which is both picturesque and practical. The addition of the rooms to the rural landscape reminds us that the resort really is a working farm. Fresh farmed organic vegetables and fruits are the highlight of the farm, as well as the vineyard which covers many acres. Award winning chefs turn the farm’s natural harvests into mouth watering cuisine. The kitchen is lined with reclaimed wood, earthy rustic old cabinets that store spices and oils from around the world. The Barn entertains the guests and is the venue for speciality events featuring famous chefs, culinary cooking and wine tasting classes. Dining tables made from reclaimed doors give a rustic earthy touch along with several wooden pots and planter filled with herbs and floral arrangements.

This luxury boutique resort opened in the late 2008 with a urban Rocky Mountain lodge style. The lobby’s conversation art piece is a huge antique 10 foot tall Indian goddess sculpture of Lakshmi, completely hand carved in one single piece of wood. Stone columns line the hallway creating a backdrop reminiscent of Roman and Greek architecture. Woven silks and tufted high back sofas give the imperial touch.

With 108 singularly unique conceptual rooms, repeat guests need never stay in the same space again. Each room features a unique energy flow and an eclectic mix of vintage furniture, old world rustic architecture, ornately carved chaises and modernistic bedding. Richly textured walls enhanced by old arches and antique doors warm up the bedroom and sitting area, where paisley and floral throws add a touch of old English country charm. Country comfort meets high-tech, the lobby features a custom hand carved tree of life barndoor that elegantly conceals a recessed flat-screen TV. With a touch of global flair cultures from around the world blend in creating an aura of much travelled wanderlust.
