Italian shoes are the epitome of beauty and craftsmanship. They are handmade, the designs are flawless, the comfort is at the top and the quality is enough to make them last for years and years without fear of them falling apart. Rain or shine, smooth floors or cobblestoned streets, these shoes will withstand the pressure and the elements without fear. The dream of every shoe fanatic is to be able to have the Italian shoes that will make an impression on both the wearer and the observer. The smell of the new shoes alone is enough to send the fanatic to leather bliss. Anyone who sees anyone wearing these top of the line shoes will draw the oohs and the aahs that is a sign of their admiration of the shoes and their jealousy of the wearer.

Casual to formal, the shoes have one thing in common, no matter the brand, they are all quality. Someone once said that Italian shoes were made the way they are because of the street factor. Most streets in Italy have the cobblestones that date back for centuries and people still walk over them. Because of the unevenness of the surface the shoes were designed to withstand the twists and the puddles that users have to go through every single day. The great thing is that not all are that expensive. Unless they were branded like Ferragamo or Gucci, there are some brands that are just as well made but target the budget conscious consumer. These cheaper ones are not top of the line, but they are definitely better than the China made ones.

The shoes are indicative of the pride in the workmanship and the craft of shoe making. There are generations of craftsmen who have been in the business for hundreds of years and they rely on their name, they cannot afford to lower their quality for their sale would fail. The good thing is that the more well known the companies, the more they insist that the manufacture of their shoes remain impeccably well done as this is the only way that the name Italian will remain synonymous with quality and style. A bonus for the shoe fanatics is that there are actually places where these are sold for a discount. These are usually done when there is a scheduled sale or the distributor is trying to sell off the rest of the stock on hand to make room for newer styles. Usually a lot of sales happen at this time as even if they are last year’s style the fact that these are classics is enough to make the purchase.
