Tried the viral Emolene moisturiser? Here’s what you NEED to know!
Yes, it’s super hydrating and affordable (100ml for under ₹350 ) with great ingredients like glycerin, squalene, and urea—perfect for dry skin! BUT… there’s a catch.
It also contains myristyl myristate, which is highly comedogenic and can cause clogged pores and breakouts for some people, especially if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin (like me!).
I loved how it felt on my skin initially, but after using it for a while, I started noticing bumps and irritation. So, I decided to switch to an acne-safe moisturiser, and my skin is already feeling so much better!
What’s the takeaway?
Always check your skincare ingredients before committing to a product.
Remember: what works for someone else might not work for you, and that’s completely okay.
